Birthday Party #2

It's fun to have a birthday party on a different day than your actual birthday. Two celebrations is where it's at! Two cakes, two sets of presents, two birthday songs ohhhh what fun.

A Little Lesson:
Halloween went down, Christmas went up. Christmas came down, birthday flowers and streamers went up. Next on the horizon...groundhog day. If you're wondering if I plan on decorating...stop wondering.

  1. Oh don't give up on Ground Hog Day. It is such a fun celebration! I can not wait to pull out my Ground Hog day decorations. I picked up this great cave made out of moss and sticks from Pier 1 last year (end of season Ground Hog Day sale of course)I set it up in the living room where my Christmas tree goes. Then comes the ground hog that we hide in the cave. I used to have a stuffed on from GUND that I picked up for $60.00 but I wanted something more realistic so I went to a taxidermist and purchased one for about $150.00 (usually they go for$151.00-I love sales). In addition to the cave I also do a lot of decoration with sillouettes and pictures of weather. You can pick up a lot of these things at the teachers store. It is so much fun. I only have a few more present to buy (we usually open our presents on Ground Hog Eve.)then I will be set. I will send some pictures.

  2. Can't wait to see those pictures Colleen! I have never really put to much thought into Ground Hog Day, but after this I may have to give it a try! I hope they are not all sold out of stuffed ground hogs. I think I'll stick with the GUND, being it's the first year and all!
